i've have seen numerous magazine/online times and the prelude usually has the slight edge for the faster time.

gsr about 15.3-15.6
prelude about 15.1-15.4

however when its that close its the driver's race fo' sho'

cause he'd compare the closest match will my second gen civic beat a 5th gen civic? i sure hope so... by the way, it's stock... my buddy has a turbocharged 5th gen and i hope to shut him up but he keeps saying he'll beat me. i don't think that's right though..

lol.. yah seems like a gsr and prelude would be close.. same driver racing both cars? lude will win. other than that it depends..go go h22 power

I have a 95 GSR and I beat a Prelude SH, more than once. We both had basically the same mods. The only thing was that his was lowered and mine wasn't.

stock VS stock I'm gonna have to say prelude(if a 4th gen). Modded, the prelude should do even better against a GSR. when I race my friend's 4dr GSR, I usually beat him by 3-4 cars by the end of 3rd going into 4th. I've also beat my friend's EG LS/VTEC high speeds(b18a stock block, GSR head) by about 1 1/2 cars, kept up with my friend's EG h22a hatch(lost to him by about a fender length), Beat a EG with a b18c1 by 2-3 cars on the freeway(raced 5 times with the same outcome), beat a friend's EF b16a hatch by 2-3 cars.( raced about 3 times, same outcome).
