Dam....Actually I fabbed it here out of some .060" alum. I have a special tool that recesses the 2 1/16" gauge...ala flush mount...It doesnt take long for us to make them, being that we can punch out the holes and stuff. And its fully polishabl or it can be powdercoated too.....If you guys want them Ill figure out a group price...

i used smoked plexi, the only reason i didnt use any aluminum is because it is very reflective and if the sun hits it its goin right into your eyes. t is possible to get a speedo in, look at my thread to see.

Yea we can put a speedo and tach in there if you guys want....we can also make anything else you want if we have a stock piece to work from......As for the sun reflection, I have had many lowrider trucks with billet polished dash pieces and have never had problems with the sun. We should be putting up alot more pics of other things we have done including a RHD JDM Integra we have down here. Lately I have been busy working on race cars for the 03 season.

I used really big washers and a nut on the back to hold the plastic panel in place. I had to grind down the washers on one or two sides to prevent the washer from hitting the gauge. It's pretty simple. For the holes i used a 2" hole saw and then a dremel until the gauges fit very snug. You can buy a square foot of that plastic from Best Buy or stereo install shop for under $5. What was really handy is all the power, ground, switched power and constant power wires are right there for you to splice into on the CRX because the clock sits right there.

How did you tighten the nuts down behind it?

Yea Boosted, I've also thought about putting them in there too...you just drill some 2" holes and shove em in there right? Was the wiring a bitch back there?
