Not streetable! We put one in a car and the when turning the wheel will try to rip out of your hand.

Not streetable.....you can't turn worth a damn with a spool. Your axles will hate you.

I saw quaifes for $850 in the sponsored classifieds forum. The Laskey's sell them also.

it is a helical style lsd from what i understand and it is just a bunch of worm gears and nothing that is really wearable, so i wouldnt worry about it wearing out. the domestic guys usually use clutch type lsds that do wear out.

Depends on your buget and power. Everyone on here is going to say quaife. I went with a quaife b/c I got it for a good deal. Some people are having good luck with obx but you get what you pay for

havent driven a spool... but a welded diff. same concept. its very rough to drive, but very nice traction going straight. ifs its going to see the street a lot, i recommend getting a qauife. thats what i have and wow,.. cant tell its there. oh.. mine is f/s. 850.00 500miles b16.

quaifes suck, get a clutch type like an ATS or Kazz instead. They work way better

i remember jerry had it in his street accord and busting a u turn on his street = to like a 50 million point turn then the axle like popped out causing him to hit the curve. welded diff / spool is very doable on the street but as far as convenience...no its not... i hate it in my race car yet alone for the street...no thanks.
