Heres what I do. Use what you have, or can get for the cheapest/easiest.

With that much power you should get a twin disk.

I run the competition clutch twin and love it. If you have the money but it right the first time, buy a dog box, ppg, liberty, gforce, at least some 5.9s axles.

Or become a really good driver and run stock transmissions on 750hp+ cars like the Puerto Ricans do. If not.. Twin Disk, dog box, 5.9s done deal, happy racing.

With those boxes you really have to do something bad to break it. Like going from 3 to 1 or something like that.

Albins has a dog set that is currently being tested. I know one car that is using it just went 8.92 @ 179.31 at the West Coast Shootout. If you plan on driving the car on the street at all I would checkout Albins Honda B Series Synchro Engagement Helical Gear Set which has been out for a while now. Also if you plan on going with the dog box you may look into getting an aftermarket bellhousing by nrg tech or liberty. Hopefully the people that are using this gearset will chime in. Good luck
