Default Clutch Question?????

i have searched so please dont bitch, a friend of mine has a 1990 Crx Si w/a 1991 B18A1 w/a YS1 trans we are having trouble getting the right clutch for this - any help or advice would be greatly - i am not really knowledgable on cable trans and there differences - thanks for veiwing and keep me to the top i need answers

also the factory LS clutch disc will not line up, the spline on the trans is bigger then the one on the disc itself, there was no clutch with the car when he purchased the car also

maby get a clutch disk from what ever that tranny come from and use the pressureplate and flywheel for your motor? if the disk fits id just do that.

well see that is one problem i'm running into i was told it was a factory LS trans but every LS clutch disc we use never works, so i read the trans code number which is YS1 and i always thought that was 88-91 or 90-93 JDM B16A cable trans and i'm wondering if the input shaft is bigger than the factory LS trans, but just a thought - and i do appreciate the input

look your problem is that you dont know the year of the tranny you either have 90-91 or 92-93 ls tranny you said you have more splines i think 24 or 25 use a clutch from a 94-01 integra it works fine 90-91 is the smaller spline if you have any other problems your doing something wrong.
