I'm hitting the track on opening day this Sunday morning... I've got a turbo b18c hatch ~ 325 WHP, launching on some nitto 555's on stock rims, quaife'd up GSR tranny.
I just setup my hondata drag-launch capability, and I've nitoced that it allows me to build boost while holding at my launch rpm. Can anyone give me suggestions for launches? I've got a 6puck unsprungs act clutch in there... I'm thinking feather the clutch, while feathering the gas to eliminate bogging until I hook up... then WOT. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
edit: also, beginning tire PSI recommendations?

im not a expert drag racer, but sounds like you pretty much have it. just experiment really. try diferent ways of taking off. im sure your nittos will give you SOME traction.
i say you get some better tires with that amount of power your pushing..maybe some bfg drag radials or some M/T..with those nittos your just going to spin out cause ive had experience with them and they suck..if you do a search on my name i have a topic about which tires to get and what other fellow H-T members recommend..but if you dont change the tires good luck and hope to see them time slips soon
If you feather the gas your gonna lose the boost you built on the 2 step. I've been
using nitto 555r's lately also (convenience factor), I heat the hell out of'em in second in the box, roll out of the water with'em spinnin till the grab to kinda clean'em. I've had my 2 step set around 3800, build 7-8 psi at the line, I just dump it and have been consistently pullin 2.1-2.2 60 ft. Not bad for drag radials but it's been workin for me. Tires do kind spin in first but if you get'em hot enough before hand they'll catch.
