Solid Rear Axle....
So that means I can try to make my car weigh 1820 and get a 100+lb penalty to make it 1920 but I do not want to get penalties. if my car weighs 1900 then it will be 2000.00
You can only get charged 1 100+lb penalty right.

for a 4cyl with one power adder in the quick class its 1900 and if you cut the sub out its 100 pound penalty so total weight on the car will be 2000 lbs with driver. you can also take on more weight penalties such as non-oem tranny is another 100 pounds.

I hope IDRC changes that rule. What's the point of having a rear solid axle in Quick Class if you can't cut out the rear sub frame, yeah car will still weigh less but sub frame still there oh well. Rules are rules must be followed to not get any penalties. In the rule book it stated anything from the rear can be cut out stock strut/shock suspension must be located at oem location and stuff that was cut had to be covered up. Then it said something about solid axle is legal to use but must maintain stock strut/shock mouting location. That is why i bought the Solid axle to use in Nhra/idrc. But oh well.
Still waiting patiently on rear. Should be here hopefully Friday or monday... Waiting.......
