This guy that lives by me wants to run em. He has a 2001 Mustang GT auto, with exhaust, intake, and I think a chip(maybe). I have a 97 civic ex w/greddy turbo and intercooler @6psi with greddy evo cat-back and a vtec controller. How should I do against this guy? Thanks!!!

if this is on the street a lot of people on here hate street racing, and their has been a lot of post like "would i win" and the mods hate that. But i think you can take him, not positive... You never know..... Street racing=

 

If he is running a drag radial on that car you will loose. Judging from his setup its a solid mid to low 14 second car trapping at around 98 - 99 mph. Your car should be a very good race for him, but you will need some kind of a decent tire to actually put the power of the single cam to the ground.

get him to run from 35mph up and youll give to him. tell him your 1st gear is broken or something stupid. domestic guys arent too bright most of time. he should go for it.

from a roll = you win

 

i ran a 14.1 in a stock auto 2001 mustang. It his should go mid 13s with the little bit of work he has done.
