rule of thumb help
i know this isnt a very accurate way of measuring how much u beat
(or lose) someone by but about how many tenths is a car length at the end of the 1/4 mile
i know there can be many different variables but estimate

gotta be more than that
gotta be more than that
Just do the math...
Say at the traps, you are traveling at 100mph (or, about 147 ft/second). And your car length is about 14 ft (about the length of an 2g Integra). Well, you are traveling at 14.7 ft per tenth of a second. That's more than a car length, but it's close. But at that point, a "car length" is the opposite car being right at your rear bumper. If you mean, he was a car length behind your back bumper, then you are talking about doing the math for 28ft.
It would be exactly a 14ft car length per 1/10s if the trap speed was 95.45mph.
