I had an 8pt cage in my car and sold it, bought the car back but the door and harness bars had been cut out. It won't go over 135 and will probably go mid to low 11s. My question is am I legal to use factory seat belts or is there a legal way to mount my harnesses without the bar there. I'm trying to race ifo at the end of the month and don't want to take the car 3hrs away if I'm not legal. The main hoop, rear bars and bars from the main hoop though the dash are still there, so it is a 6pt still

 

any main hoop need 5 point seat belts regardless of ET.

Off topics but wth would they cut out the harness bar and not just cut the entire cage out?

 

They just wanted to get in and out of the car easier and to recline the seat for a daily
