Well after talking to tony at CMI this weekend, there is no Street Performance Class.

His exact words were " The Street Performance Class is an Index Class of 11.50, you can run anything that runs 11.50 or slower. Fiber glass doors, lexan windows, whatever as long as its all motor"

Since this is the case - the All Motor Race cars that didnt make the cut for the Prostock class, ended up going in the Street Performance class.

Dont assume that im not going by any rules. I can totally and completely qualify under BOTI rules. i have everything in my car from the back of the front seats forward, and full glass, i dont even have a fiberglass trunk, still metal. all i have to lighten up my chassis is a carbon fiber hood and a vx chassis.

I dont think you read this whole post. If you look on page one you will see sinisterprostok post that the integra meets BOTI rule's. But this is not the case, I posted the rules that were broken. If he fix's them and runs it again then no one would be bitching.

The way I see it - CMI doesnt have a street class, just an index class. That means the index class of 11.50 should have included all cars, all makes, all model's regardless if it was turbo, Nos, or all motor. An index is an index according to Tony, and since this is the case then there was never really a all motor street car class at CMI.

So I stand corrected on the door thing.. Regardless of cut doors or not, the integra is STILL heavier than your crx's and hatchbacks.INCLUDING BELL TRAN, THAT SUPOSSEDLY HOLD SOME RECORD WITH A FIBERGLASS HATCH. No cars meet the rules. LOOK UP BOTI, all cars must have STOCK dashes. that includes heater cores. I never considered my EG to fit your "STREET CAR" standards(even though I drive it more that ANY 11 second car, SO-CAL included) If any body wanted to complain, I would have been more than happy to go into another class. I'll tell you what....We'll put EVERYTHING back in the car,including the stock doors, Turn up the power and see ya in June!!! Haters. XOXO. Oscar,lets run em.

Did you remember April 4th all motor mexican?? that was when Sinisters INTEGRA went 11.73 then backed it up with a 11.74 @ 118 mph. WITH STOCK DOORS AND A WORKING SUNROOF. So No you dont hold the title for that, keep tryin though!

can anyone confirm this? I didn't think the "dash" included the heater core.

What does "STOCK" mean to you?? if you took something out, is it just how the factory intended? This was a CMI event, not Battle or NHRA. We were legal,went fast, and won. I dont appreciate being called "cheaters". We work hard too hard to get knocked on something that was AWSOME. I guess I started it with the "meets boti rules" but I also thought that leaving the glass in would get some credit.Geez, you guys are tough....
