Just curious but how do you run factory glass with cut out doors? Modify the regulator mounts or are these windows locked in their closed position? ...and unless the door beam has been cut out, what's the point? You're not removing that much weight...[/QUOTE]

u cut everything around it. and i do mean everything. every single peice of metal around the regulators and stuff. if the window can fucntion without it, its doesn't need to be there. (ie; the beam too) sides and bottom can be drilled out with hole saws from one end to the other too for less weight.

much props to sinister, but lets be real. Your integra would never pass tech at BOTI. so really as far as the FASTEST NOR-CAL Integra street car goes I don't believe you guy own it.

Im not trying to hate, I think the car kicks ***. but if your going to claim something and state that the car meets BOTI rules then you should at least read the rule book first before you post up something like that

Here are the rules that I found on the BOTI rules book

I beleave your integra doesnt have these :

A 5-point roll bar, including hip-bar, is mandatory for vehicles running 11.00-11.99-seconds and convertibles running 11.00-13.99-seconds. A full, 6-point roll cage is mandatory for all vehicles quicker than 10.99 seconds. Painting or powder coating of roll bar or cage is permitted. Roll bar padding meeting SFI Spec 45.1 is required wherever the drivers helmet may come into contact with the roll bar.

The vehicles original headliner must be retained, or be replaced with a re-upholstered unit resembling the original unit. Vehicles must retain all original interior panels from the rear of the drivers seat forwards. Rear seats and interior may be removed.

Vehicles front passenger seat must be retained. Vehicle rear seats may be removed.

Doors must be functional from both the inside and outside. Vehicles must retain factory door panels. Door panels may be reupholstered.

Vehicle must have working seat belts. If vehicle is quicker than 11.99 seconds, a 5-point, three-inch wide driver restraint system, or safety harness, is mandatory. This must include a crotch strap. The safety harness must meet SFI Spec 16.1. The restraint system must be updated every two-years from date of manufacture.

If you need more info on the rules you can go here

http://www.fastestfwdstreetcar...e.htm

Otherwise I think the title is still Bells as far as fastest allmotor Nor-cal street car and Oscar still has the fastest allmotor Nor-cal integra

Still not true. Albs went 11.7@118 back to back with full doors, power windows, power doorlocks and a power Sunroof at CMI (April 4th).

Yesterday he did have cut doors and a plexi sunroof filler and dropped 2 tenths.

Just to clarify

this is the reason i took pics of the integras door...its cut in the inside....thats not a street car....as far as the red eg with the lexan windows and fuel cell that went to the finals...totally not legal...well maybe for the pro all motor class
...all the cars from so-cal that went up there were legal every single one of them.....i wish we would've known that cut doors and lexan were legal....maybe we could have put Alberts car in the 10's.....11.226@ 121 in real street trim

tell ya the truth... i dont really care. i've been out the game for over a year and a half now... just focusing on alot of other things. was able to move outta my mom's house as a result of not tossing all my money into racing. i certainly would have gone faster than 11.70s eventually if i stuck around. aparently this car that went mid 11's wasnt adhering to the same set of rules we use on fastestfwdstreetcars.com but it is fast nonetheless and that deserves congrats. personally, i wasn't going to continue with the dc-2 chassis any more and always have had love for integra's and people doing things in them that most would rather do in a civic or crx.

i dont get all worked up about this....anymore. but n/a is a little different.. in both street and pro stock. building/tuning/maintaining an all motor honda engine is an art. can't just turn a **** when we need more power. can't just add some fuel injectors when we want more boost. often times to gain just a few more HP or a another tenth you have to go back to the drawing board and start with a fresh setup. that's the difference.

damn, kick back... its not cheating if the rule isnt being broken. if it was at boti, or any other sanctioned event, and they ran the cut out doors, that would be cheating, but CMI didnt have those rules. Just because someone gets fast, people have to talk ****. wtf is that all about? i had to run folks with a fiberglass front end and lexan windows, didnt see me bitching...

I dont think you read this whole post. If you look on page one you will see sinisterprostok post that the integra meets BOTI rule's. But this is not the case, I posted the rules that were broken. If he fix's them and runs it again then no one would be bitching.

The way I see it - CMI doesnt have a street class, just an index class. That means the index class of 11.50 should have included all cars, all makes, all model's regardless if it was turbo, Nos, or all motor. An index is an index according to Tony, and since this is the case then there was never really a all motor street car class at CMI.

Default "FULL OF IT "or "NOT FULL OF IT" that is the question?

so are they full of **** or not ? ok i understand that cmi has a complete different set of rules vs all other scantioned events ... but claiming street all motor record is way off ....i'd like to see the rules for cmi ... so we can bring all the stuff that is legal ONLY AT CMI for next cmi event ... JUST TO SEE WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN TIMES WE GET ? WONDER IF WE CAN DROP A WHOLE SECOND OR MORE ?
who has the rules for cmi ? fiberglass doors and hatch ? lexan glass all around? no interior what so ever ? sounds like full race car ? buit is this whats the street class says is legal for cmi ? let me know!

you put ANY OF THE SO-CAL STREET CARS on doors and lexan and they will be deep into the 11s.
nor-cal I'm not calling any one cheaters but if u have a fuel cell, lexan, and cut doors i would not be happy with mid 11s. i mean all the cars that i know of that have cut doors, lexan. and a fuel cell go 10.50-9sec range allmotor. you guys are on here all happy about a mid 11sec pass. mack speed did it with a full body integ just no seats and no heater core. albert went 11.2 full body no heater core... i give props too bell and red zone... they are the only cars that u see at events other then cmi(no rules)and if any body wants to do something on the street or the track pm me we can set something up......SO.CAL HOME OF THE FASTEST STREET CARS...!!!!!!
