man those guys make me laugh. It seems to me that they are mad that some one with money and company backing has decided to try out their sport. They should be glad someone has decided to make their sport bigger.

rado

reading that article makes me realize why Rado is talking sh$t about drifters and drifting...can you imagine how frustrated Rado must feel knowing guys like Andy Yen, Ken Gushi, and Alex Pfeiffer are more recognizable and popular in the import industry right now than he is? must kill him cause he's supposed to be such an icon but wouldn't get noticed for one second in the same room with any of the above mentioned drifters. i have to say too that no matter how much money you have it will not magically give you the ability to drift with the best mr. rado...but good luck trying to.

Who the **** are those guys? Drifting is the dumbest ******* thing in the world...in 5 years noone will remember it...lame as ****

Ok, so since when is drifting a scene? ***** been around for a year? All these lame *** dude who used to drive CRX with B16 swaps...traded them in for 15 second S13s with SR20DET Swaps. I love when someone talks about drifting and how they are so old school and they have been into it WAY before it became trendy....uh huh...My boy was into AE86 like 4-5 Years ago. There wasnt **** on the internet about them other than Club4AG...yu could buy them for like $100\ea. Now a rusted outa 20yr old car goes for $2-3k. Drifting is so wack...it can't grow. The US is populated with FWD Cars...the audience drives FWD Cars. They can't duplicate what they watch...Its like the olympics. Sure, the bobsleed lookds fun as hell and is entertaining to watch...but Im not gonna run out and start bobsleding. Im not gonna goto and bobsled websites, Im not going to buy bobsled clothing or any merchandise. I wouldn't even pay to see bobsleding...Theres parallels. Atleast Bobsleding is objective competition tho.

**** Drifting...Drifters, Drift Cars, Drift Events...The Real Drifters are in Japan...everyone else are ******* posers.

I find it rather funny that all the drift people know who Rado is, yet us drag racers have no idea who these people are (Andy Yen, Ken Gushi, and Alex Pfeiffer). Kinda makes you wonder who really is known in the import industry when even drifters know who a drag racer is. They are just scared that Chris and the crew is gonna pimp all of the drifters girlfriends while the guys are out drifting their cars. That was a funny a$$ post. Thanks for giving us the link NFJohn.

I have no clue who those guys are either. The most I know about drifting is the signal guys, and that is because they were at etown last october. I saw rado drift his lexus in the pits last year after a race, I think he'll do pretty good. but for the most part drifting is gay and got a laugh on that board.

Drifting is a passing fad. You have these really young kids who think if they stick long enough in it that they can go down in history as being a part of the beggining of something but in reality they are all posers because you cannot go to your local drift course and practice your drifts.. These guys try it in mall parking lots and look like idiots.. I remember going to a mall in SoCal with my 510 and the guys where asking me if I drift because I have Vold TE37s on my car and I replied" no I dont abuse my car like that or my local parking lot..So give a couple of years and it will be dead.... Hell look at signal auto they purpose built 4 Drag cars for the U.S.A because they know the market and they know what is here to stay.. I live 10 minutes from signal auto and if you go there you will no doubt notice that they have more drag cars than drift cars.. And if you ask them the drift cars are just for exhibition because there really is no clear cut winner in a drift competition urr i mean exhibition...

I love drifting my 3/4 ton silverado in the mud.

But honestly, it's one of theose things we all enjoy doing at some point, but to stand around and watch is plain stupid.

rados a pisser! i hope he takes that truck and does nothing but donuts while hanging his middle finger out the window. after that he should ghost ride the thing into the grandstands, and just after it mows down the first 3 rows of dorks he presses a button on his spiffy D&G watch that detonates the C4 loaded in the bed!
actually i hope chris does really well. not that i dont think drifting takes skill but it would be hilarious if he goes out there as a stranger to the sport (i use that word lightly) and dominates the guys that these dopey kids worship like little girls at a backstreet boys show. the only downside i could see is rado just bringing more attention to drifting and making even bigger with a wrestling like rivalry(which realisticly might be his intention ). but in the end its all good because its still pissing off a bunch off those tools which sure brings a smile to my face!
