Depends on:

-What intake manifold you will be using and if you will be port matching to the TB size.

-How much power you plan on putting down.

and

-If you will be utilizing supporting headwork (ie: p&p, larger valves, cams, chamber work)

But first off.

What made you decide to run 3" IC piping? and are you running 3" from turbo to throttle-body?

PS. This should be in the "Forced Induction" forum.

Don't know what manifold yet all the headwork is done...running a 42r would like 800+

If this is serious and you actually have a true 800whp setup. That's around SFWD territory. Most guys run around 73-75mm. So I guess the answer is NO, there is no point running anything larger.

Yes this is serious I'm running a forward facing 42r next year an plan on making over 850...so I guess I'll keep my 76mm. Why do people run bigger throttle bodies with 3" pipe? Your only getting 3" of volume

We trap 157 on some bullshit lol 2 1/4" pipes stock throttle body and manifold. Dynojet reads 815hp but whatever 157 mph is in a 2450lb car. Not saying its efficient but it works.
