Default Quaife diff question.

My hatch is putting down 430whp and has a quaife diff.. Do they normally make a click sound when turning? (Mine only does it when turning left, and its very noticeable.) Sounds almost like a CV click but my wheel chatters with it.

Any ideas?

No, it should be running silent. I would do a good inspection of the axles first and then move onto the trans if they check ok.

It could be an issue with the trans?

Yes it could be a problem with the diff but rule out all the easier things first

Autozone, O'reillys brand or are they OEM, DSS, or another well known company?

They can if a gear is chipped, the case is cracked, or the washers are shot. I've seen all three of those issues first hand. Axle is much easier to inspect even if it is brand new.
