Can you trigger the prologger with a wheel speed input?

Or maybe it would be easiest to have it start when the two step is released, just use the same button...

We need one of these things bad.

The Prologger has configurable outputs only (IE: for VTEC, Shift light, Nitrous, ect....). It turns on when it see's a RPM signal and turns off automatically after 5 minutes of no RPM signal.

You can use Input 1 (aka the Launch Control Input) to trigger the recording. 12vdc applied then removed starts the log sequence.

No, can't trigger by wheel speed, but trigger it with your 2 step button, that's the best way.

Yeah, the ProLogger, VTEC rpm activated switch is cool! Travis' is wired like and you can tell when it's engaged because of the output 1 light!

The only gripe that I have so far is that the log sequence is triggered by 12v and not a ground. If it was a ground then you wouldnt have to use a relay when used in conjunction with the 2 step.

Most domestics use 12v signals for the line lock and/or trans brake, i think that's why it's like it is. But yeah, would be nice to trigger with ground w/o using a relay.

That is so true on not having a lot of points on the M4. I remember wanting like 50 things on my Motec and before I knew Tony was telling me "You ain't got enough for that. figure out what you want and actually need and go from there." BTW Tony, i think putting the 2 step was a bad idea like you said. IMAGINE THAT!!!

This one was very consistent and stable right off the bat, without even messing with the overshoot and gain settings.

Buy from Tony, he's got the conversion values for the PL and Motec!

P.S. - They worked perfect!

i love this unit. we have it on one of our racecars. we use the o2 sensor and output it to the m4 unit. the quick lambda works great. it is an ausie box that wont let you even turn lambda on. we use the rpm output to control vtec and let the m4 control the idle air control valve.

my car has an m400 on it and the oscope has come in handy a few times. if i could find a reason to put a pro-logger on the car i would. maybe for the boost controller......

Anybody have the 1V and 4V kpa values for a AEM 5 bar MAP? AEM gave Travis values (around ~-5psi and ~50psi), but those numbers don't come close to zeroing out the ProLogger, or reading the correct boost which the Motec is showing...

P.S. - I did do the conversion from psi to kpa a few different ways. First off assuming that -5psi meant 5psi below absolute (~60kpa) and also just 5psi since I don't know how you can have a negative pressure value. Did the same for the upper voltage too, with several different combinations. ProLogger doesn't like to answer Travis' calls either...

This is the closest pic i've got of mine right now.

Adam, call me, i'll get you the info you need. Prologger is in the middle of relocating right now and they're kind of hard to get ahold of.

In case anybody else needs the values for the 5 bar map and the prologger.

0 = 65
5 = 500

Thanks to Brent at PFI Speed for the info.

All you have to do is read the directions....

We used the 5 stage boost control on a FWD daily driven VW last weekend and got it into the 10's, 10.91 @ 134.
