Default Post your Dual Injector setup!

Well I'm planning on running dual 1000's and I havn't exactly decided where to mount the extra set. I've got an edlebrock victor x. Lets see pics of what you've done.

(yes i know there is a thread about post your fuel system, but no one has pics of the rail with dual injectors)

Save yourself a lot of trouble and buy the Edelbrock manifold that's already machined for 8 injectors and includes the secondary fuel rail.

ooo geez tony that sounds pricey, I guess I'll look into it. Would I still run a resistor box for both sets, or would I have to change to an injector drive module?

Thanks in advance!

Where does the second rail go on the edlebrock? I'm looking on their site, and don't see any pictures. Just wanna make sure I'd get the right one ordered!

This is how I added 4 additional injectors on my Subaru, but yeah, just buy the Edelbrock piece already setup for it. Tons cheaper, easier, etc.

Yeah, the Edelbrock 8 injector setup is very reasonble for what it is. Fabbing a seconday setup can get expensive quick.

If you use ID1000's then you won't need a resistor box or injector driver.

Where on the manifold do they go? In the runners?

For a some reason i think mine might have the spots in the bottom for the injectors, would any rail work or would I have to run with a edlebrock one meant for it?

Thanks for all the help guys, this bigger fuel stuff is new to me.

well I looked at the manifold, looks like I'll have to buy a new one. If I ran 1600's would I have to have an injector drive module with s300?

Yes you will need an injector driver with the 1600s. If you're just trying to get around running 8 injectors, you should try running 4 of the ID 1000's and run higher fuel pressure. This all, of course, depends on your goals for the car.
