Default pedal stop question

question for yah. im using the longshifter and for some reason it would no go into 2nd. no grinding took the tranny apart had 2nd gear synro replaced. didnt look to bad. it would only do it at 9k 10k rpm. driving around shifts fine. it never grinded only got 5 passes on everything. shifter goes into all the other gears like butter, and the shifter is not moving at all. cc twin in there. i think i need a pedal stop. do you guys do anything wiht the neutral switch when you put a stop in? or do you just put it in to were the clutch is pressed in the car starts. i kinda think this could be my problem. tranny is back in 3 out of the 5 times out of the hole it went into 2nd. one time i notice that i didnt have the clutch to the floor and it went right in.....thanks

i cant see a pedal stop fixing it, if the pedal is alll the way down the clutch is completly disengaged.

lol, kinda been on pause, gonna pull the tranny at the latter part of this week and replace the change holder and forks. I MIGHT put a 17mm bolt for a pedal stop just for the hell of it once i get it back in.

there is a sweet spot where you can make good clean gear changes, but before and after that sweet spot it wont do a damn thing. a pedal stop is good to have.

if it only happens in second most likely the wheels are spinning so fast in first that when you go to pull second the tires stop but the trans is still going too fast to engage second. you have too lower the power in first or get more traction. the trans are usualy fine this happens on high hp hondas i found
