Default patching slicks

i have a pair of slicks and i only get a couple of run out of it and i found a leak in it (a hole). so i brought it to a tire shop to patch it. i was wondering will there be any chance that the slicks can blow out on mwe while racing? slicks does cost a lot so im kinda low in budget.

I plugged a 13x9.5x22 M&H slick. No problem what so ever. The vulcanizing of the plug becomes stronger then any other part of the tire. The tire store i had it done has done many slicks with no issues. Just like you i was worried that it would leak or blow....but it was a non issue. If you don't want my advice on that....then just tube it or throw it my way

I also patched a set of M&H slicks worked fine for me.
