Default anyone patch slicks?

my friend has a nice set of slicks but one has a leak.. a plug type patch will not work.. it would take 2 to fill in the space and that aint safe. . i tried a regular patch inside them and they are cloth inside so it dont stick.. anyone know a way to fix them? we need to fix it before the 22nd ..

yup, get tubes. first night out racing on my brand new slicks and i got a hole in em. piece of gravel did it. bought tubes, slowed down, but i didn't have to buy new slicks.

tube it. I don't recommend trying to patch a slick tire.

if it needs 2 plugpatches to fill the void, i would most definately replace it. slicks are thin and i wouldnt want to rip one because of it.

i did have a pin hole in mine and tubed it no issues.

but again if the hole is as big as you say it is, i strongly recomend replacement.
