Omni Drag Differences?
I have two sets of omni drags and they are very different, any incite on this? I'm concerned with the smaller rear shock body on the black set.
Springs are both 18k/12k, one set has skunk2 18k rears instead of omni springs, they actually look thicker [black set]
Thanks for your business and time,
DK

From what I understand.... the larger bodied assembly is the preferred setup. Valving is better for the aggressive spring rates and rebound has been tuned better from the earlier versions.
The diameter of the shaft is bigger on the newer ones meaning it's stronger. It's best to use the big shaft with heavy springs.

haha, I wish I could brother but I got these for my dc and a ek hatch that I am building for my girlfriend. We would have bought the blox's but they were back ordered so we swooped these up used.
Thanks for the excellent info Tepid!
I think they will both work out fine but Ill use the bigger ones on my black car. One of these sets were pulled off a 1.54 sixty foot car and other set pulled off a 9 sec car so I think we are good.
I tuned a local car on the blox's, makes 18psi on the line and hooks 21 psi in first on a piston rod 35r gsr. Sold me on the drag suspension as I have never been able to put down anything more than wastegate boost in 1st at the track.

Haha, not sure which set was yours, but thanks for the business
Interesting, we've done this for years, our open ended lug nuts for extended studs seem to have the same tapered pitch/bevel as the lugs pictured, what should we use?
Thanks everyone for their time,
