Nossle Placement
I am about to drill the holes in my GSR intake manifold for my NX four nossle wet kit. Im thinking of putting the holes just above the fuel rail. Is this the best place to put them or does someone have any better ideas for placement. I saw a couple of pics of someone puttting them in the primary side of the secondary block and im curious to know how this would work. Any info would be great.
i dunno if it makes a diff on the GSR manifold. but on the reg manifolds. its not really a big diif either way . i had mine right above the fuel rail on my ITR manifold

Depends on the spray pattern. I checked on Nitrous Express's website and it didn't have anything in depth about nozzle placement. Best bet is to call them up since we don't know what type of nozzles you have, they should though.

I have a NOS direct port on my B series that has a skunk manifold and I put the nossles right above the fuel rail. I did have to make a block off plate for the air intake temp sensor becuase it will not fit. I relocated it to the intake pipe.
i herd you want the nozzles as far back as you can get them,so the gas will atomise better.but i just recently did my nos pro race fogger kit
and i just mounted them just above the fuel rail.
not trying to jack the thread.but i have a ls manifold drilled and tapped for nos direct port
,just the manifold if anyone is interested.

I found this in the NX online instructions. "Mark the center of each runner approximatly 1 to 1.5 inches from the manifold flange. This distance is not critical, however the higher up the runner the nozzle is placed the harder the "HIT" when the systm is engaged." Has anyone experimented with moving the nozzles higher or lower. The reason I ask is that I would think that it would make more power higher in the runner.
