No longer a rumor....Eggum to drive a hotrod Scion Tc
The Dragshotz Racing 2005 Scion tC is the first car of it's kind to be constructed for the NHRA Hot-Rod and NDRA Pro-Four classes. This automotive work of art features many of today's leading edge technologies and has been designed and constructed to be a class-leading race car.
The front-wheel-drive Scion tC has been extensively lightened with the use of many exotic materials and is fitted with a 2.5 liter version of the NORAD 3RZ that powers the T&T Motorsports Toyota Celica. Coupled to the potent powerplant is an Xtrac 2005 spec four-speed sequential transmission and the car is fitted with lightweight Mickey Thompson racing wheels and Mickey Thompson tires.
A Precision Turbo supplied Garrett turbocharger supplies up to 55lbs of boost and the engine management and data logging functions are handled by a Motec M880 ECU and Motec ADL dash.
