Everytime I got to the track my alt. Belt either shreads into pieces or twist and comes off any suggestions on what it may be this only happens at the track I can drive the car all day on the streets and it's fine car is making a little over 500 hp

 

What kinda belt are you using?

 

That just happen to me last time out at the track with a brand new OEM belt.

 

Check both pulley to make sure that they r line up to each other if there not u will have problem and check the pulley for bent I had the same problem before

got both alt bolts tight and the sleeve in the bracket is not rusted solid?
