Default my first run time

i got a swap 94 eg hatch GSR motor gutted out no passenger and back sets, no carpet. just basic add ons adjustable fuel regulator, jun race ecu from ebay, act street clutch, short shifter, DC jdm headers and custom exhaust and i use street shitty tires (good year) w/ 29 psi. i think my car is still running kinda slow...

my first run time

R/T---- .131
60 ---- 2.345
330 --- 6.784
1/8 ---- 10.498
MPH --- 65.78
1000 --- 13.747
1/4 ---- 16.591
MPH --- 77.06

My second run time

R/T ----- .157
60 ------ 2.253
330 ---- 6.601
1/8 ---- 10.169
MPH ----69.60
1000 --- 13.251
1/4 ----- 15.862
MPH ---- 86.31

what should i do?? is this my final time for that swap???

need your feed back, thanks you!!

yes that is slow. "Seems like your granny shifting and not double clutching like your supposed to..." j/k

your mph is pretty low. I run better times in my LS powered hatch. Shift higher faster and get more seat time. You should be in the 14's no problem

mine too, about a second quicker.

all it takes is practice man! don't get discouraged, i've run my car so many times down the track the first time i ever raced at the track i did very shitty and i just drove out discouraged.. but once i got back there and started having fun running times started coming down.. definately check your wiring.. if vtec isn't kicking in your car may have other problems that need to be addressed.

thats really bad times...your 60' time isnt horrible but your MPH is really slow for your setup. my friend with a similar setup with less mods trapped at 99mph. ide check out your motor and see whats going on and maybe try running it without the ebay jun ecu

aite i fixed my tach meter, now it idles better, before it was 1500 and my red line was passing 10,000 rpm mybe coz i cut the two wires that attaches to the back of the AUTOMETER tach (green and brown wire) that i bought. now i connected one wire which is the brown wire and the idle droped at 700-800.

i took it for a test drive and the vtec kicked in @ 5800 rpm.. man i tell you my freakin car pulls like crazy!

theres IMPORT WARS this coming Sunday OCT. 17 @ Greatlakes raceaway and im gonna see what my time gonna be so wish me luck guys

thanks for the help

oh yeah by the way..! how many degrees should i adjust my timing at?? and how many psi should i set my fuel regulator at?? please let me know thanks!!!

set timing at 16-18 BTDC. set the FPR with specs in the manual. Usually its about 40-45psi with the hose disconnected.

Seems a lil low to me. I hit 14.8 on shitty *** street tires with the GSR I had.
