Miller
Wow I'm impressed with the posts, I thought for sure you guys were going to tear me a new azz hole today.
What was kill? As mentioned earlier, the car ran out of gear at 1000'. (this was the first problem free All Out Event with a new 2010 combo)
On the previous runs I was shifting at 7k, lifting & maintaining 7k. For the final(s) I shifted at 7300 & stayed in it, crossing around 7500. (that motor wasn't built for those RPM's) and as you can see It fell on it's face up top.
Next Year? I'm thinking with those incredible 8.3's from Chris, the ice may be getting a little thin running below cert.
(pretty much a guarantee Chris will be running high 7's/low 8's next year)
And Jason will be watching I'm sure. At that point Jason might have to change the rules to slow things down or enforce cert, hard to say?
If it's the latter and Chris builds his "All New Car" (assuming it will be 7.5 cert) I won't be in the hunt, at least not next year.

regardless of what is claimed after the fact, it is apparent the guy with the vette agreed to a re-run due to the situation at hand. It is the track official's mistake, and upon given a chance, the guy with the vette made an honorable decision to do the re-run in order to determine a winner by an actual race instead of a track official's mistake. Now that he lost the re-run and all the keyboard warriors are butthurt on the bullet forum, the guy with the vette has second thoughts about his decision to make a re-run.
corvette guy, you have a nice car, and I'm sure you can make it run better times with more tweaking on your setup. Instead of bitching and crying about the results of a re-run that you agreed to, my advice to you is be the better man here. Either wait til the next World Cup at MIR, or get with Miller and set up a rematch of epic proportions. Tweak your setup some, get better gearing or whatever it takes to get the car down the track better and bring your A game the next time you are out. And don't bring your sleeping back to the tree!

BTW- When your off your off, when your on your on.
Last week in the semi I cut a .053 & .003 in the final for the win. (.400 tree)
I hear ya
I was parked next the the concession stand, and I noticed all the import guys were stopping, pointing, etc. at my car. So I thought I'd spice it up a bit and write "Where's Miller" lol
It was all in fun bro, I talk to everyone who wants to talk, lend anyone anything they need at the track. It's all good.

I think you've handled this all pretty well, Only thing i think is shitty is that it seems like you think you should've won and regret the re run (which wasn't millers fault) and would've rather won over a technicality, Than accept you lost a good race.

I was just thinking the very same thing. simple yet effective. I'm sure if you hadn't run out of gear the outcome probably would have been different but it is what it is. better luck next time. Just keep in mind that Miller will make the neccessary adjustments also, so like he said on yellow bullet, bring your A game and nothing less or he will be picking you guys off one at the time, AGAIN.
Don't mind at all.

Stock intake and TB and small header.. that car would really open up with a better intake / tb and some custom headers.
Nice to see a class act, i personally just spent 45mins of my life trolling through the entire thread on yellowjacket, and i gotta say.. what a bunch of ignorant ****s.. lmao.

hey miller....out of curiosity, why does it seem you have no interest in doing a legal cage in the car? only reason i really ask is your shop is known best for their CAGE work LOL
Lol. No plans to do it in this car. I dont want the downtime, nor do i want to tear this car apart. There is sooo many things about this overall car that I would do differently so starting with a blank canvas was the best way to go. You of all people know that feeling. I might one day do a build thread. Lol.
What you dont understand is that Miller runs OUTLAW most of the year. Outlaw, whether its under 8.50 or not, is OUTLAW. I think that it should be governed by the people that are racing in the class. If most of the people think that they should have a 25.5 cage, then so be it.
