It shows the officials at the starting line (not back at the water box) inspecting the Honda, then the Honda was stopped.
How could they have made a mistake from 2 feet away?

The first final should have been a race.

It's not Jason's fault, I think the starters were covering their butt, worring about a ricer lynch mob.

We can get a discussion going. where is the water was coming from.
behind the tire on a fwd car? If the official was looking at the front of the wheel I'd buy it. Most likely it was from the water box. Right... burn out ect... Everybody and their mom knows fwd cars drag water. The Back tire's are wet at the line.

The driver of the vette agreed to the rerun. That should end the discussion imho. He should have protested before agreeing to the rerun, not after. Any sanctioning body would rule in Millers favor because the other driver agreed to the rerun

Miller has a great car no doubt, but I was rooting for the vette that frozen *** night. Why because it looked better. lol

Why don't you have a look at this video instead?

The guy in your video bending down to look under the car is the same guy in this video with the black hat on. I'm taking a guess and saying that's Jason Miller ( I can't remember what he looks like it's been a while). Jason Miller posted and explained that the waterboy called over the radio and claimed the car was leaking fluid. Looks to me like he's checking too see if what the waterboy said is true and notice immediately that there was anything leaking and went on the radio to call the vette back (you can see this with his finger motions).

Take your crappy edited blurry video out of here! It's two weeks ago. Get over it!

WOW you're right! I can even see the second shooter on the grassy knoll in that video! Hell if we can make it even slower and blurrier it would look like two chicks one "CUP"!.....

GTFO! That vette was on his best run ever, with twice the cylinders, twice the turbos, was 4-5 cars out, and still lost to Miller after he blew apart second gear! Get use to it boys.

the link didn't work for me... so I couldn't go and read all the **** talking the domestic guys were doing...

as for the rest of it, it seems to me that the domestic guys had their feelings hurt by an import and they don't know how to handle it. they have been beating up on us import guys for so long that when we come back and hand them their ***, they are not really sure what to do. maybe it was a fluke that the starter stopped Miller from making the pass and maybe the Vette did hurt his car a little on that pass, but when it all came out in the end, Miller was top dawg, as usual, and congrats are in order for him, as usual. what they have to realize is that Miller showed up with a very big stick and he knew how to use it. end of story.and being that the stick just happened to be an import was just another insult to the injury he inflicted on the pride of every domestic lover in attendance...

goes to show that the old saying is true. there is always someone out there faster than you...

I'm with you on that one^^^. I had to watch that video a couple of time just to make sure I heard that right.

they all (domestics) had to know what was gonna happen after watching what he was doing to every one of the other domestics he ran against. it was almost as if he was toying with them, giving them hope and then right at the end, calling psyke and passing them for the win. I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case, but it would be funny as hell if it was.
all the domestic guys in our shop are just amazed and dumbfounded by the fact that the Vette had him all the way to about the 1000' mark and then "that little Honda" just came alive and passed him. it's particularly funny to see their faces when they watch the in-car video of that run...

Its funny to see how the vette looks standing still right at the end as if he was parked there and miller just went by..lol...Domestic guys need to stop u can see how the official got in the way, I think they did the right thing by re-runing it.
