Methanol compatable fuel injectors
What brand injectors are you guys running with Methanol? Anything special? Just wondering if a regular RC will hold up to it or if theres something better on the market made to work specifically with alky.

Re: Methanol compatable fuel injectors (Rosko)
Back in the day, Bosch Motorsports made injectors with all stainless internals, about 10 years ago they went for @ $250/ea. and the flow rates were nothing special.
Mike Moran has been "coming out" with his new injectors for quite some time. You are supposed to be able to get them anywhere between 150 and 500 lb/hr. I have not physically had my hands on one yet - but you can supposedly buy them.
I'm not affiliated with, nor am I familiar with this company at all, but I found this link on them:

Yes you can pretty much use any injector.
However get them flowed and checked out at least once a year.
Flush the system out with Gas after your race weekend. We would usually run alcohol from Friday night to Sunday and on Sunday before loading it up run gas through our entire system.

Methanol blows by the rings every pass, and contaminates the oil. We have an oil heater in our dry sump tank. We heat the oil in betwwen rounds and it boils out the methanol. The oil looks pretty much brand new after. But it still gets broken down, so we change it after 3 pases.

Mike's been backordered since about April
Try Mick's performance in Missouri, they've either got them on the shelf or can have a set ready in 2-3 weeks

I'm supposed to have a 150 from him to test next week. It'd be great if I could offer 150 - 600 lb/hr adjustable injectors. We had a CNG injector from something that flowed like 1000 lb/hr @ 45 psi, but that's obviously not practical for our market. Not yet anyway.......
