whats the best rpm launch for drag racing in an ls vtec, if any one has any experience that would be great.

be alittle more specific with ur problem and people might be able to give you some tips

try searching for launching technics and launching in general.

I launch at about 7500 on 22inch M/Ts

I have a ls/vtec with a gsr tranny

on a street car i like to launch about 500 rpm lower than the vtec engagement point. it still spins but when vtec engages it seems to pull you out of it

my friend has the same prob with his ITR with azenis ...hes has had his best luck with 6k but still has wheel hop ...hes looking into getting traction bars and an energy suspension bushing kit ...

Yea 4500 is pretty good for street tires.

you need traction bar like moroso and hard eng. mounts hasport

a set of cheap Energy Suspension motor mounts will do wonders for your wheel hop woes.

mount insert cost 40 bucks that wat i got mines for i jst got it for my ls/vtec too

u must have to much air in your tire to get so much wheel hop i run the falken azenis and i launch 5000 rpm and it grab real good try lettin the air down to 28 psi

with 12-15psi in my friends azenis on his itr he still get sick wheel hop launching at 6k
