my question to you guys is this..
what is the best way to launch your car off the line , where your really going to get a good jump, what rpm do u have faith in??????????
i had a b20 vtec and i was launching at about 3000-3200 rpms and i really dont feel i was getting a great jump off the line..

 

what tires are you using? slicks or cheaters? you should be launching much higher. in my b16 crx i'm running slicks and launching at 8500 rpm.

 

Remeber to put the E-Brake down after your burnout

 

or simply use the e-brake while DOING a burnout

 

im not racing track im racing street no slicks just some 14 in rims with dunlop tires they moved me in here from street?

 

street racing is bad. test and tune on the black top near your house

 

launching at 5000-6000 will this brake my car?
