like i posted in the other topic. people dont like lightweight flywheels because they cant drive. if you cant shift fast enough the rpm is gonna drop more than you want.
lightweight flywheels dont cause you to lose hp or torqe. the help the motor rev faster.

Anyone who says a lightweight flywheel is bad is a moron. The revs drop just a tad faster, nothing significant at all. I'm running a 7.5 lb flywheel and I can say without a doubt that it is MORE STREETABLE than my old stock flywheel.

For a street car with low torque (most hondas) that is drag racing, a stock flywheel will perform better. With the lightweight flywheel you loose the inertia of the motor which is important on a low torque motor. With high hp, race cars, and road racing a lightweight flywheel can be beneficial though. You should match the weight of the flywheel to your application.

Yeah, that's our new time. We ran it at the NHRA race in Oregon. We also ran an 8.97 at Sonoma. We'll see how we do this weekend at englishtown. We made a few changes that we expect to work pretty well.
