Default Light weight rims does it really help

Ok i have a VW so its a little harder to find light rims.. I found some 10 lbs rims 15x7 that i want to run. But should i spend the extra money and get some weld racing's or something... Would it really help that much.. How many of you had sucess with very light rims

Lighter rims make a world of difference with acceleration. I can help you with some excellent pricing on Spin Werkes Racing wheels. They can make it in any bolt pattern, and will provide you with the style, weight, and perfromance that you deserve. PM, call, or write to me via my website: http://www.bisimoto.com

Below are a couple pics with the wheels on my car:

a 10lb wheel is pretty light already. Especially in a 15". Most 15" weld's aren't going to be much, if any, lighter then that. A light wheel is an important detail in the long run but don't go out of ur way to get the lightest wheel and stay within your budget.

I used to run Bogarts in the early '90s. I never did care for the heavier weights, and the heavy specialty lugnuts. I switched to the Spin Werkes, and love them ever since!

I get excellent prices too!

I bought them for my car. And will be buying a complete set for my new project also.... Thanks Bisi...

Here they are. 13x8 with 22x8x13 M&H slicks. Both purchaced from Bisimoto. Like Bisi said, they are real light. With the tire mounted you can literally toss them accross the shop. And I weighed the wheels when they arrived. 8lbs.... Nice.

not really planning to buy this season.. just curious on a round about price that i might be able to build twords affording for next season. Right now i'm running some HX's with BFG's. I love the way that they Weld Magnums look with some MT's on them, but the price for the magnums is out ragous IMO.

My summer special is $220 for the 15x8, 15x7, 15x3.5, 13x8 and 13x7 wheels. They take 2 weeks to build, and can be ordered in a variety of backspacing and lug patterns. If you need any assistance with correct backspacing for you application, I can help as well. Feel free to PM me or call my facility at 909-464-1262. If I am in my "lab" please leave a message. Take care!

Are the wheels that you have pictured there the actually spin werks? Circle racing makes a lot of dirt track wheels and has a wheel that looks almost identical to the spin werks and are $85/ea.? The only difference is the circle's are steel?
