If the material wasnt so expensive, we would make one. We have access too a full CNC shop. The material was close too 1200, cheaper too buy one from liberty after you consider time.

With that set up in a Liberty case all you need to do is clearance the flywheel area for the pressure plate bolts. It doesnt take much but it will rub with a twin disk.

Thats all that should need to be done.

that is correct the housing arent much profit. we have a engineer is very meticulous about clearances which is getting quite annoying. but he definitely has some cool ideas to make things better. he laughed at the liberty case if that tells you anything.

This. We were also going to make one about a yr ago, but decided against it and I'm really glad we did. The liberty case is not perfect, but dang close. A few small adjustments and it'd be perfect, but I think they'd need to fly someone in to show them in person what to change. Doesn't seem like that'll ever happen.

If he laughed at the liberty, then I'm really interested to see what he comes up with. The outer case half is really needed as well.

Guys, last I checked this thread was about a cracked Liberty housing, not an NRGTech housing. Can we keep this on topic please?

Liberty is repairing our case, and all of the newer cases will already have more material in this area, as well as having clearance for the slave cylinder, differential, and flywheel.. They really seem to want to improve the product, which is good news for us!

Showing you where to clearance the case for the flywheel bolts is only going to get you so far. Your still going to stab the tranny a few times before knowing when enough is enough. Simply meaning that you don't want to remove too much material, so your going to grind and check it a few times til you get it right. I think we put the tranny in about six times on the first one before "trusting" yourself to only do it twice on the second one lol.

Are these only for B-series, or are there some K-series too?
Is this what Miller is using, or he is just selling them?
Thread seems kinda all over the place. Who are the vendors for these things?
If there isn't a vendor, then who are the 'competitors' that offer other bell housings?

I will believe it when I see it Joe. They reassured me that the clearances has been updated earlier this year and when I bought mine a couple months ago I had to do all the clearances. Wasn't a big deal, but none the less annoying since he confirmed it was good. I took pictures and dimensions of all my clearancing mayhem when I did mine but have been on travel for the last month and hadn't any time to upload them.
