Raise the car up and put some slicks on it

if your car is dumped, your options are limited. you can try a diff, but with it low, your tire selection is very small.

If the car is dumped then you have very bad contact patch raise the car up and use drag radials. Rob

do you practice bracket racing or something?? because reaction time has nothing to do with overall time in like a street tune night at a track.

MMM.. Could drop. down to about 25 psi. on the tires.. But you porb. already tried that... Trying to hook up in a crx isn't an easy task...

Single cams are a b*tch to hook up with because of the power to wieght ratio.. But then again this is and issue with all hondas...

you have a motor that has almost matched torque with horse power....

your best bet for hooking would prob. be to get a set of G sport traction bars also get a set of slicks get a luanch conrtol setup and launch lower and ride out the clutch a little more

I can't disagree more with that.

The only reason he is having issues is because the car is dumped with hideous camber AND on street tires at the drag strip.

We had a 2000 lb crx with a B20vtec and nitrous spraying out of the hole on 20 inch slicks. It would consistently pull mid 1.60's. The only thing wrong with his car is height and tire selection. Sure a traction bar may held once you get everything else worked out but if you are spinning launching at 1500 rpm's with a single, there is a LOT more wrong with the car than a traction bar.

Take a little more time to read buddy!!

The only thing I didn't mention that would help him out, is to raise his car....

Read Again

Oh yea if your going to spray a car traction is less of an issue do to the fact once you do hook up and spray your making up for lost time........

Ha Ha Ha and did you say you had a 200lb. Crx ha Bull Spit!!!!

Let me guess you Had the all new Carbon Fiber Engine Block that hasn't even been released in japan yet.....

With the Tissue paper seats, and a big hard d*ldo for a short shifter!!!

Ha Ha your a funny funny guy!!!

Ha Ha if you ever could get a crx to be close to 200lb. driving down the road call me I will pay top dollar for it!!! HA HA

It would be called a typo master of the obvious.

2000 lb car.

As for the rest of your reply, good job. I am glad I didn't finish reading it so you didn't steal too much of my life

Just practice your driving and you will be ok. You should not be dumping the clutch, try pre-loading the drivetrain and slip the clutch so you don't bog out. But something is wrong if your spinning at 1500rpm, are you possibly pressing the throttle before fully disengaging the clutch?

Good luck dude, its a struggle, running slicks for the first time this year, ***** tuff
