launching B16a2???
I need help launching my 2000 si.. I have heard that they are the hardest b series motor to launch off the line.. I have been to the track two times and I cant get the car in the mid 15s like it is suppose to run.. Im stuck in the mid 16s

Yup, our b16's are definately touchy.
First of all, try lowering the tire pressure to about 26 psi or so. Do a quick spin to clear the crud off, but no big burnout stuff.
When you launch, try about 3500-4000 rpm, and slip the clutch out. It'll quickly spin, but when you feel the tires hook, floor it. Don't floor it right off the line or you'll just spin.
