Default Launching.

Im kinda of a n00b to cars in general. But right now im saving for an eg or a IT-R to get started up in.
I've been working on my launches is my dads truck thats a manual, and my 2002 Auto tauras....
In the truck I dont think im doing things right becasue I give it alot of gas and come up on the clutch and half the time, it stalls. Or I just burn out for 10 seconds. The Parking brake it not on btw.
IN the tauras I rev up to about 3500 RPMS becasue thats wher the max boost is, then I put it in drive and that seems to be the key...
Can someone gimme tips in launching in the manual..?

(Let the fires start...)

If you're stalling the truck, you need to practice driving it (period). When you get used to driving a manual car, it will make launching the car 98759749732947324x easier.

Also, not to be a dick, but stop beating on your dad's truck. And neutral bombs in your taurus will do nothing but break it.

Im not sure about the truck, but the clutch has like 177k miles on it. So would that be a factor in the stalling?

If the clutch were bad, you wouldn't be able to burn out.

Slipping now.
If I pop it the car go crazy and starts rocking back and forth then stalls

dude if you dont want anything to go wrong with your daddy's truck .....launching in a truck ? .....i suggest just wait till you get your car ....and launch how ever you want....cuz if you break your daddy's truck ...and you have to fix it ....its going to set you back from getting your car.....
