First time at the track the other day, ran some ok times for my setup, but I really think I could have reached 14s.

I'm a JRSC SOHC, and my fastest time was a 15.317. My first launch, revved to 4500 and got TERRIBLE wheel hop, even knocked things out of my dash that I've never seen before. 2nd and 3rd launch were the same. Rev to 3000, spin into brief wheelhop and then get traction. My shifting needs help too, but I think I can fix that.

Anyone have any experience with launching an SCed car on street tires correctly? I want to fix it, but really don't know how.

Things I didn't do:
-warm up tires (just drove around the box and lined up)
-feather clutch (I didn't dump it, but I didn't feather it either. I've found that the SC tends to bog if I feather)

Help would be great, I hope to go back to the strip on Friday, but will def be there next Friday and want to work on this.
