last second problems with car, trying to make it to MIR tomorrow
i'm having a problem with my car, it won't fire. it cranks but no fire. i chased it down to what i think is an injector problem. there's no continuity from the underhood 4-plug harness to the ecu harness. i chased it down to the fjo box and i'm not getting continuity between the in/out connector pins on the box. should there be continuity between corresponding pins on the fjo box?

i appreciate it guys. i did more poking with the multimeter and i still can't figure out what's wrong. i tried contacting joe simpson, he lives 1 mile from MIR, but i haven't gotten a response. no race for me today.

Re: last second problems with car, trying to make it to MIR tomorrow
thanks for the suggestions guys. there is continuity between the injector power plug (dead end plug) and the injector plugs. there is continuity between the injector plug and the 4-pin plug that takes the injector signal inside to the ecu. there is no continuity between the other side of that 4-pin plug and the ecu harness. there is continuity between that same 4-pin plug and the fjo connector. but then i get nothing coming out of the fjo box, which is why i'm getting nothing at the ecu harness.
i also checked the ground to the fjo box. at first it was a poor ground so i moved it and got good ground. the box is getting a continuous 12V from a terminal block, and is also getting a good switched 12V from the upper left hand corner of the fuse box.
my problem is, i don't know if this is normal behavior from the fjo box. in other words, i don't know if there SHOULD BE continuity between the IN/OUT connectors of the fjo injector driver box. if there shouldn't, i'm looking at the wrong place. if there should be, i know my box is bad, which i would think is unlikely.
i also checked that ground on thermostat housing and it's great. i actually relocated it to the top of the transmission housing.
