On the DA I did not have to cut the spare tire well. But I have seen it adjusted so much that the straight axle was were your *** would have been if there was a back seat in the car. So he had to cut that portion of the floor board out. I was able to take the straight axle put it on my Snap-On jack and install it within 20 minutes by myself. No problems at all.
