"If you want the lightest rear suspension anywhere order Ken's Spindle mount rear straight axle. Comes complete with ultra light weight calipers and rotors and the latest in Weld spindle mount wheels. Call Ken's toll free today @ 1-877-880-9181 for latest pricing"

This is it the ultimate in straight axles for your Honda Civic and Acura Integra. Save almost 100 lbs and takes no time at all to install. No holes to drill no welding involved just unbolt your factory suspension and bolt this kit in. You can use your factory wheels and shocks and the most amazing thing of all is you can raise or lower your ride height by 4" and still use your factory shocks.

I would like to find out too.
i have some pics of it with some mugen rnrs mounted. i used some spacers (a lot of them) and its the furthest out it could be but it still slightly rubs the inner part of the tire. let me try and post some pics. im still very tempted to turn my crx back into a street car.
but would be too scared of pot holes...damn LA roads...

sorry those are the only pics i have at the moment. but im sure you get the idea
EDIT:THIS THREAD IS OLD AND I'VE SINCE SOLD THIS. PLEASE NO MORE PM'S ABOUT IT. THANKS

Bringing this one back. Anybody run the ken's straight axle? I've heard that since it uses a locator bar or something like that, and doesn't actually mount to the car like the full-race one does, it can sway from side to side, making the car dangerous when going 100mph. Anybody know about this?
The Kens axle is available either with or without the rims. It costs around $1100 without the rims, and $1900 with the rims. It will work out to be about the same price, because the rims cost about $475 each. It is either the anglio or strange axle set up.
Hope that helps, and enjoy the product. It is really good.

anglio?
No full race doesn't make a kit for consumers, but on their yellow car on their website they have a straight axle setup on it, and it uses 2 diagonal bars that are welded to the straight axle, that connects to the car. This stops it from moving.

just so you know, anglia spindle's are differant than stange spindles.
kes chassis has a "panhard bar" which locates the "rear" in the car. this is what stops it from moving side to side. this style rear. will move the rear to the left or right when you jack the car up. but for a FWD drag car, this is fine.becuase the "rear" dont move all that much. 4 link with a pan hard aka track locator bar. (5 bars total)
the full race design is a triangulated 4 link setup. which will not move side to side, but rather "twist" when it gets "jacked up" much better for stability. (4 bars total)
hope my .02 helps you out a bit.

Yea, when I ordered mine for a DA Ken asked which set up I wanted. That is why I seperated them and stated either anglia spindle or strange. Thats all.

Ha ha. When I ordered our Ken's axle about a year and a half ago they told me Strange spindles over the phone...so I bought 2 sets of wheels for strange spindles and got tires mounted on them. Then the axle showed up and it had the Anglia spindles! I couldn't return the wheels because they had tires on them. Talk about a silly mistake hurting a budget racer's pocket book!
As far as a bolt-on setup, I think the Ken's setup is hard to beat. It bolts right up and has a lot of adjustability. I'm not a huge fan of those Strange brakes and I think the axle is pretty heavy...but its strong. Over 100mph...you can't tell a difference. There is so much adjustability with the 4 link you could get a crashed car to go straight with that thing.
Its a good deal for a unibody all motor car. We used their wheelie bars also and that was a nice setup.

ouch, that was expensive
the spindle mounts arent cheap by any means.
i will have to agree, the kens unit is a great bolt on kit, with a ton of adjustability
(ive never used one, but ive seen them, and know how they work)

Do the weld wheels use strange or angelia spindles? And I totally like the idea of the wilwood brakes. What actual wilwood caliper are you using? A dynalite one or two piston? Either or is only 1-2.4 lbs if i remember when i was looking at these.
Stupid question, but this kit will not let you run the old cable operated e-brake will it? Do you gotta get a custom one like your staging brake?
What is the total weight savings for a crx? And does your kit require any cutting of the spare wheel well?
