keep the b18c5 or go k20?????
So I have a b18c5 in my crx which I'm making into a drag car. My work on the car is about halfway towards being all out drag and after that I'm starting on the engine. As of now it has ctr pistons, crane stage 2 cams, aem cam gears, and an quaiffe lsd in the ls tranny. Its also tuned with uberdata and I'm getting like 195whp. What i want to know is if would be worth it to make the switch or should I spend the money on beefing up the engine I have now. I'm going all motor and have some ideas for my current engine but the k20 is the wave of the future. After selling the full swap how much do you think a k20 would set me back and is it worth it. Any ideas would be appreciated and if anybody wants to trade their k20 let me know (although I'm not holding my breath on that one)

k24 stock EG ran 13.1@106 No slicks. We beat a EG with a semi Built JDM ITR that put down 220whp. The k24 was at 210whp
You tell me what you want to do?

you should ask yourself if you want to go threw the hastle of selling everything and spending around about 7,000 or more to get a stock motor and everything you need to get it running? but if you have that kinda money then I say do the K20 but its going to be a headack doing the swap and getting everything to work right since its in a CRX

I have a 84.5mm GSR block with stock crank, stock ITR head (except chambers opened to 84mm) and intake manifold.. I was able to run 12.82@109.7 in my 2450lb DC2 on BFG street tires....
Think about that same motor in your CRX at 2000lbs..

c5-- piece of history.either way you look at it, but special k,is a piece of the future. im thinking about it, especially since i found a salvage yard thats selling accord k24,full swap w/key for about $2500.

k20 is a sick motor, and would be something differnt as far as swaps are concerned. But the c5 is one hell of a motor, save your money and build up the c5
