my guess is that they get MUCH better atomization with the carbs

Could someone elaborate on this? Other than this engine is designed to be run at wot the entire time, thats the only guess that I can think of. I know air flows through a carb to mix with fuel, but I dont understand why it is better.
sorry for thread jack.

To achieve the atomization of a carb, you would have to move the injector so far back that the manifold becomes impractical

lol, i think this is a different concept. although i do love the idea of hiding nitrous. reminds me of back in the day.

i wish so much i had mathematical data on it, im just going on a/f ratios during tuning and visible spray/fuel pattern.

K series = injectors would need to be where the radiator support is...
Who needs a hood?

Re: k24power spy photos (k24power.com)
The carburetor is a marvel of mechanical engineering.
Carbs are finicky, but so are most EFI systems. Nothing can so simply give you a rock solid A/F ratio with the twist of a screw like a carb can. Rock solid A/F's in minutes.
Most of you are too young to remember carbs let alone points! Points were a disaster!
I call it the pointless generation!
Kudos
