Jimenez Racing is back!!!!!
Well were do I begin, there been so much going on that a lot of poeple would have called it quits a long time ago. Issues after issues I would never think the car will ever make it back out.
To long of a story to tell so all I have to say to others is have faith and everything will be worth it at the end. I don't have my 8sec time slip yet but so far the car has amazed me what it's doing now. Some people been following my facebook and know exactly what I went through, so first I want to thank does who alway's told me to stay at. Thank you.
Now the car, I made some changes to the suspension close enough to were I wanted it, still haven't corner balance the car yet but still catching some what of a good 60'. Due to some issues I had to put a unported head on the car which from the dyno graphs I'm down about a good 95-150hp in the mid and top range but so far it's doing great. We took it out to the 1/8 first and surprised the hell out of me how the car felt when I layed in it in 2nd and of the back it went a 6.2 at 126... then 2nd hit making no changes just better driving it went a 6.0 at 128.
This past friday we went to the 1/4 and off the trailer it went a 9.2 at 155, then the 2nd hit took another lane and car went to the left a little and went a 9.4 at 149, then 3rd hit track was already going away but still manage to click off a 9.3 at 150, with some boost issues but car is not even seeing over 38psi...
Also the car is not on AEM anymore I had the car totaly rewired for Pro Efi 128 and man all I can say is very good things about it. For the price it's the best bang for you buck.
Well also just wanted to thank everyone who has helped in this project Secret Service Auto, Inline Racing, Pro Efi, ASAA Racing, The Brothers Racing, Golden Eagle MFG, Avid Racing, Redline Graphics, T1, Dave Zientera Racecraft, Turbo Dan, and to the ones who I can't think of thank you very much...
Here are the breakdown of the best slips and as well stay tuned for some photos in a week or so we did a photoshoot at the race track and in the process of doing one in the streets so pics should be up by the middle of the week.

Good stuff Jose! You have gone through more issues than any other person i know and now all that hard work paid off!
It has to feel good now that the car runs as good as it looks!
Congrats again and good luck the rest of the season!
Also nice vids!

Congrats! Way to stick with it and not give up.
I would raise the car though, looks like you are tripping beams with bumper.

It's been fun working on this project. Jose and his dad are good people, and its rewarding to see them both smiling after hitting new personal bests at the track.
I'm looking forward to 8s this weekend, after going over the logs, I'm pretty confident with some small changes we'll be there..

Re: Jimenez Racing is back!!!!!
I just noticed it on the video, I don't recall seeing it in any other passes, that last pass I tried to run the slicks at 5.5 pounds maybe thats why it did it, I usually run them at 6psi. Thanks though I'll be looking more into it.
