Alright, I didnt get a chance to reply to the last post so lets revisit this one before it gets locked in about 20 minutes; I have been stuck in a airport all day. First off for anyone that was at the nhra finals I was the one pitting with jarrod the whole weekend, the kinda chubby one.
First off I flew in all the way from Chicago to Cali for this race to help homie out and I can vouch that hes a good guy he just gets frustrated when his car is not running right which is understandable, Look at his last 3 races, Almost every time off the trailer something has gone wrong with that car which has preventing him from running a full pass at full boost. When your running pro thats a bigggggggg problem.
Recap of the weekend, Friday night the car was in pieces, motor finnaly back in the car a few hours before the event . 1 hour sleep.
Saturday night motor and tranny both outa the car, everything pulled down, problem fixed. 1 hour sleep.
Sunday morning get to the track, work on all the problems and find just allitle oil leak at the lower cam shaft seal which was spraying on the slicks and could have caused a crash.
Imagine going through all these problems and all the money it takes to go to a race and going through this the last 3 big races and still keeping a smile on your face. Fact is hes a good guy just going through issues with the car, his dad is one of the coolest nicest guys I have meet so far. Really down to earth, they opened up there home to me for the night to stay same with Tom J. I hate when people come on the internet and talk stuff. If anyone wanted to say something we were by the trailer the whole weekend. I went up to earl which is a REALLLLLLy cool guy and talked to him about 10 minutes each time, hell i borrowed tools off time to finish up jarrods car. I just think its unprofessional to come on here and bash someone, if you are trying to race professionally how does it look when a racer comes on and bashs another racer, Just remember your reping the company you work for. If you have something to say just come up and discuss it, dont bring it to the internet for bullshit.
