Default Intake Air Temps Question

Just wondering what you guys are seeing with a large air/air intercooler. I'm
looking for the cars with 600-800 HP with a large "T" series turbo.

It looks like I will need to swap from a air/water to the air/air for next year and
just need an idea of what to expect.

With my 2 core air/water I'm seeing around 40-45 degree's C

Steve

Where are you interested in seeing the temps? Before, during, or after a run? When you run the car at idle in the lanes do you allow oil temps to come up or no? Lots of variables. Also sensor placement is big, obviously in the manifold it will get heat soaked, charge piping is probably the best location.

I usually check the whole run, you could see the temps rise slowly from 35ish
to 45ish C.

My sensor is in the charge pipe before the N2O. I like to get the oil temps up to 180 or so before a run, don't always have the time though.
