Let the guy live, he has a unique car. Yeah he has some rice on it but you know what, lisa kubo has some altezza's I dont see anybody calling her car riced out. Personally, I have never spent a penny on body mods, but if he likes it fine. He gets my respect getting 135 mph traps in the 1/4 mile.

just tune back the injector pulse, tune the NOS timing and you'll run 9's, Yo!

where's the slip I see a 12 second car due to loss of traction

2500lbs
400 to the wheels
H22 gears
lucky if you see 11s

sorry if I seem skeptical

my boy's T78 supra with 440 at 15lbs rear wheel runs high 11s with street
tires in the FLA heat. I dont see this Civic doing better than it.

Ok

Teg92, good idea about making a topic on his car

Guys, i went to high school with him, it's not a "good friend" of mine but i know him and talk to him when i see him. (if you look at the pic, i'm the guy with the light blue shirt And yes, thats a CAGE that you see there)

Here's what i know.
He did run 10's on last weekend.
Off the bottle he's running high 11's with the slicks that you see on the pic. He didn't try it with the new slicks. All i know is that he's spinning thru 1st, 2nd and half of 3rd gears. He does have a MAJOR traction problems. The suspension is the problem.

It's not his first project, i think it's his 3rd one. He used to have a CRX with a supercharged GSR and his first car was a 90-91 civic with sohc vtec turbo.

This car was "meant" to built that way if i can say that. Yes it's ghetto, it's not superclean but this guy only cares about one thing: Going fast.

Personnaly, i wouldn't of done it that way, but it's his car...and it's fast

My 2 cents!

I found it impressive....

Hey xxplosif one, it's the night Iv've been caught by the police ! I'm somewhere on that pic too or just aside...

I just want to add one thing to what xxplosif one said... Frank one had a big stereo system, and everything in that car, and took it all off... And that night (the picture taken) I heard him say that he will take those clears off

happy everyone?

Congrats to Francis for being the first Import into the 10s in Quebec! Its not easy for us having only 6 month a year to race and also having to pay 2x for the same parts you guys buy in the stats! Do you realise that a freaking AEM CAI cost between 340 and 370$ in Quebec!

he has a unique car.
that's all there is to it....

altezzas suck...but on this car it makes it that much more of a sleeper...

there's some people (me included) who could care less what you think about how my car looks...that just adds to the fact that you have NO CLUE what is waiting to be unleashed.

I mean, it IS a 4 door civic and quite frankly, those are hard to make look nice or even sporty...so more power to him. Its a grocery getting economy 4 door that will beat 99.9% of the cars on the street. in my book.

Mad props to him

only thing i would change would be a better intercooler install so it wasn't so obvious. Which IS hard when you need something big, but doable.

"what you don't know, will beat you"

the other guys r right, to get sponsors he needs to clean up his car. most importantly other than cleaning his car, sponsors will b lookin for attitude. they will want whoever that guy is to represent their company well. the other thing is just because hes bested a 10.79 which is still alot slower than some other independents is can the guy perform. just because he ran fast doesnt mean hes good at driving. the company will look for the "OVERALL" package.

Anybody wanna guess what this car runs on slicks? Its pissing me off that this guy isn't getting sponsored or more, and I just want to confirm that this is impressive.

FULL INTERIOR H22A, turbo and no more than a 75 shot and this 4 door street driven car is running 10.79 @ 135mph (best this year, car was only "built" this year). Is this impressive or average?

[Modified by teg92, 1:11 AM 9/5/2002]

OK maybe it's just me.. but i think i know y this guy isn't sponsered. The car is like 3 different colors. The first pic the car is purple, the second pic the car is teal, and the third pic the car is blue???
