Who's going?

 

I was going to go but I am broke and can not afford it. This wont help any more for this season but Maple Grove Had a class just for the Imports. The officials don't know if they are going to have it next year But me and a buddie of mine are going to go to the meeting during the winter to talk to them. If they keep the class we are going to need a bigger turn out they might even make the prizes cash instead of trophies but with out enough people to race they might shut down the class so if any buddy is interested in race in the import bracket class e-mail me at n2oaccord14sec@aol.com and let me know if ur interested so that i can let them know. Nov 3, is the last bracket day so come out to race and see if u like it later

 

ill be there for sure. . . ill be on street tires though, and no juice and without 1/2 my mods, cuz its ripped apart right now for the turbo build up . but ill be there racing .
as far as the import class? i really dont care, bracket racng is bracket racign , i dont care what i race.

 

if you go, watch out for Ron Lummus' VW Beetle, that thing is making a very good amount of power and is running awesome.

 

 

I went yesterday.....It was my first time out for the season. I competed in the street class finding out I was running with 9-10 second street cars (holy **** was I in for a surprise). Anyways a 13.2 w/a 2.2 60' was my best run for what I have done to my car. I am satisfied, I really went out just to mess with the car, I wasn't really out there thinking I was any competiton to those people in the street class.

 

Maple Grove was real good. I think a few records were broken.

my car ran aight for it beign amlost back to stock and on street tires. 14.2, coulda got it down lwoer with a couple more runs.
didnt go far in elminations though, cuz I couldnt get it to be consistant, every run was getting faster. . . like its a bad thing right?

 

terry nice job at maple grove. now you just have to start cutting up the car to get that thing lighter. yeah a few records were broken shawn gears with the all motor bug running a 10.49

 

I saw that bug run the 10.49. That's sick for all motor.

....trying to put the Civic on a diet for the survival series in 2 weeks. Maybe it'll see 11's then.

 

yeah get that thing on a diet and cut it up...but make sure you get a roll bar for 11's and a jacket

our doors in our hatch race car wight like 5lbs. . . . just the outerskin and the reinforcement bar. . we gotta rig up some nice levers to get out though, or they wont let us pass tech , the bar might get ditched too , im not sure what his plans are for the body any more. main concern is the motor for now
