HELP wheel hop!!!!!!!!
i have a 98 civic hatch w/ lsvtec engine 189 hp and typer tranny 4.4 fd i have been running 1/8 mile but it wheel hops really bad i have installed lakewood traction bars no help still wheel hops like crazy i am running on street tires
i have tried all different air pressures but no difference i have kyb struts and ractive coilovers that were on the car when i purchased it i am hoping some suspension will cure my problem but am unsure what would be best for a daily driven /weekend track car any info would be greatly appreciated thanks
What tire pressure have you been running ? Sounds like you have too much tire pressure. Just run a straight slick and you will get rid of the problem , just my .02 cents.
i started at 20 psi then 18 psi then 15psi then 12 psi no different wheel hop all the way threw first gear also what kinda 60ft should i see wit my horsepower in a ek hatch with slicks?????

You should get 1.7 no problem , maybe even 1.6 if you heat the up properly and get a good launch.
