Wheel hop problem

Default Wheel hop problem

yeah this past weekend was my first time going to a track but i was racing my car. i was driving the newer si the 2.0. and i rev it up at 3 and try to take off how i usually take off on the streets and i get bad wheel hop. what are the suggestions on taking off at the track. i need some pointers

no its not lowered or it might be the track

the first cure for wheel hop is to drop the tire pressure.

I suggest 22-25 psi on stock front tires for at the dragstrip.

your stock springs and shocks just can't handle the launches. Try to lower the tire pressure if that doesn't cure the problem you will have to play with the suspension
