help with suspension, traction etc.
I am still on stock suspension in a 96 integra. Car is a DD that is goin to track on weekends. I have 180,000 plus on car. 1. trying to figure out coilover and if i need a traction bar set up even if i get high enough spring rates. Is their a happy medium between street an strip traction. Less than 300whp future 450whp. Thanks

Re: help with suspension, traction etc.
I already have bought 15" BFG Drag radials 205/50/15. I have about 1100 to spend for front and back coilovers and ???. I have a stock itr tranny with the 4.7 fd and lsd. comp 4 clutch and PP. 2600lb car I am staying in the 14 sec. and above street class for financial reasons but my goal is a high 12's street car.

With 300hp your not going to get much traction down low with that gearing and tire regardless of suspension/bars IMO.
If its never going to be a track car then just run whatever coilover you prefer for a street car, put a set of t-bars on it and get a good alignment and rock it out.

Get slicks. With less then 300whp 22in slicks would be perfect. You do not need a traction bar with slicks I don't know why someone would say that. With 1100 I would be a new set of slick and some blox coilovers.

Re: help with suspension, traction etc.
Just a set of coilovers for now it is. I will start looking at the different traction bar set ups. Thanks for the input. I almost wonder if money wouldnt be better spent putting a lsd in my ls tranny. that itr tranny is so low geared i was really hoping I could get it to hook up. I never thought about going with a lot taller tire. I guess it wouldnt be that big of deal to switch out the front tires at track. Thanks again
